Week 6: Progress Report

Ok.... It is crazy to think that I am six weeks into this new journey.  After years and years of trying,  I think I have finally found the correct path. I have been very impressed with my progress and my consistency.   

    I was at Home Depot yesterday and had an impulse buy moment.  They had a bluetooth scale on sale.  It links with my phone and records all my measurements to include BMI, Body Fat, and many others.  Do I need that much information?  Ummm  No, but its there. More to compare later. 

This week has gone pretty well.  I have been having the occasional peppermint hot chocolate on my way into work.  Nothing crazy.  I have stayed away from bread completely.  Have not had a drop of soda.  I used to love drinking my calories.  Soda was an all the time, every meal thing.  No more..  Water with lemon.  I used to never like it, but now I love it better than plain water.

Ok, Ok, Ok,  Enough of the B.S. bloggy stuff, here is what you have been waiting for.  This weeks numbers.....

I took pictures with both scales to make sure there was no advantage, and both scales concur.

3 lbs down!!




I am blown away that it is still coming off.  I have read about ketosis.  When the body starts to burn fat as its primary source of fuel.  My body has converted the fuel source, because of not eating all the sugars and the carbs.

The second holiday of the season is almost upon us.  I am not worried at all.  I was able to handle Thanksgiving dinner, this will be no problem.  

I will do another progress report next Monday as usual.  I hope everyone has a great Holiday.
