Juicing vs. Smoothies

I have discovered in my recent failures one important thing.  There is a big difference between smoothies and juicing.  I have a juicer at the house and I also have a nutri-bullet blender and planned to bring it to work and whip up some fresh stuff at work. I have a farmers market down the street, and it's easy to stop and get some items.  Well, when you put all those items together and blend them you get a pulpy drink.  When you are making things with more vegetables than fruit, it is not a great thing to look forward to drinking.  The juicing way is a lot easier to drink and more enjoyable too.  That's the key to continuing this fast, making it enjoyable.

I now realize that I need to do a lot more planning and take the time to juice enough for the day or two.  The ability to grab and go will be great.  I will reduce my times where I have nothing made and eating something else for convenience.  My big thing is keeping enough stuff in the house to do this.  Luckily we are coming into spring and the key items are relatively cheap.  I primarily make a green juice which contains kale/spinach, cucumber, celery, apples, some pineapple, lemon, and ginger.  The most expensive thing there is the ginger, the pineapple is coming down.  That is the base go to juice each day.  I am going to mix in other recipes as I go.  This should be exciting as long as I make it easy and tasting good.
