Week #2 wrap up

It has been kind of tough this week to stay on top of the blog, and put in the OT at the job. I also put some time restrictions on myself for when to go to be too. I am glad that I did because I feel much better in the mornings now, and I have not missed an alarm or a workout since.
Well the numbers are in for this week. I have managed to maintain even with the deficit and the extra cardio. So, officially I am at 243.5.
I felt good this week and could feel the difference in my body even though the scale has not reflected it. I know body fat is leaving and muscle is forming.

Plan for the coming week

Stay the course as I have been for the last 2 weeks. If there is no change in body weight or and increase by Sunday I may have to start tracking calories and possibly change up the game plan. I am currently on a BFL schedule this week with 2 lower workouts and 1 upper.

I am going to start the training for my first 5K. I will be incorporating some treadmill routine. I plan on using the couch to 5K program from coolrunnings. It will get me into condition by August 28th.
I need to follow a meal plan. I have been putting them together on the fly for the last week and it has worked. I don’t see my luck sticking with me. It will really be important if I have to start counting calories or changing things up.

Is your goal to simply finish the 5k or are yoyu setting a time to strive for?

I just want to finish under the maximum time. I have been training this last week. I just want to complete something. I have not been a runner at all my entire life, so to finish this one then I have a baseline. The more I get through training and the closer to race day I may make a time goal.
