Wrap-up from trip.....
I have returned from my trip without a scratch. Everything went well and I am now back home. The thoughts and worries that I had prior to leaving pretty much came true. I tried to eat the best that I could. Ahhhhh.... The best laid plans.... Well I did the best with what I had. It was really hard to do it right all the time every time when you eat out every meal. I arrived home to find the scale telling me 250 pounds. I managed to gain back 5 pounds. I am sure that I can re-lose it, but it still hurts a little to take some steps back.
Things started out very good with the use of the on site gym. During the week it became a very popular place. There were a lot of people who had the same idea as me. It made it tough to do my morning workout. I had to postpone it until the evening most times during the week. I actually did the Cardio X workout from the P90X series one morning in the second week. It was a great replacement to the machines.
I decided to start a running program last week. I started on Tuesday with a plan to run a mile and a half or 20 minutes whichever came first. I need a baseline for the rest of the program. I managed to go for the 20 minutes and got 1.32 miles. There was some walking and jogging. It was good seeing I have not really run since March. My goal is to be at 12 minutes. I have a ways to go.

Glad to see you're back. You have this. 5 pounds is not much to deal with. That will be gone in no time. The biggest thing, in my opinion, is that you tried. You did what you could where you might as easily gave up. That is success, right there.
