Happy Holiday for those who have it off

Today was another good one. I was going to start the day off with the P90X Chest and Back workout this morning, but I was still sore in the arms from the upper body workout I did on Friday. That program was push ups and pull ups, so i did not feel I could give my best. I opted to go with the back up plan. I did a leg workout instead. It was a good one. Nothing too heavy though, I don't want to be sore and not be able to do my cardio.

I completed 45 minutes on the elliptical and burned roughly 500 calories. I feel real good so far. I have been paying more attention to my water intake. I am trying to drink 8 oz every hour I am awake. That will put me at a gallon or a little higher. That is right where I want to be. I have been making sure to take my multi-vitamin and green tea extract. I made a great meal last night that I wanted to share. I sauteed 4 oz chicken breast seasoned with Mesquite seasoning. I also sauteed green pepper, onion, and a few sliced mushrooms. I split it all between two whole wheat tortilla wraps. I suppose its called fajitas without the fajita seasoning. I added 16oz of water for a drink and wham!! a nice clean meal at about 400 cals. I made enough to have a serving for lunch today. I am trying to change up my meals a little. I am used to serving of protein, carb, and veggie or fruit. I need to find a way to mix it up. I am creative like that and love to cook. Maybe I'll post a recipe or two each week for you guys to try. We will see....

Today was an overall win. I am looking forward to this weeks weigh-in. I expect a 2 to 3 lb weight loss this week. I don't expect anything bigger like last week. The free ride is over and its time to get down and dirty and earn those pounds. It's almost 10pm and I need to get to bed because 4:30 comes very quickly. C-YA guys and gals tomorrow.

Reading how much water you drink had me thinking...and Yep, I think I need to up my food and water. I'm working hard with this P90X stuff...and even tho my body IS changing, getting smaller, the weight isn't moving off the scale. SO that's my goal...UP water, AND FOOD.

Btw, where did you find the P90X Plus? I bet I'd LOVE the Kenpo +!
