I CAN!!! and so can the elliptical machine when you look at the calories burned!!!!
That's right followers Steve-o played the biggest loser "THE HOME GAME".
I did not make it to the gym this morning. The alarm went off, but it was freezing in the room and I turned over and covered up. (Poor excuse won't happen tomorrow) I went the whole day sticking to my calories with the right food choices. I avoided the bad temptations like when my son wanted an ice cream snack after lunch. I stayed with it. I really feel some momentum building, and building fast like and avalanche. It is true that it take a lot more power to get an object at rest moving, then it does to keep it moving.
So I switched to plan B for the workout. I would go after dinner. I finally made it to the gym at 8pm. It was time for The Biggest Loser to come on. I have been hooked on it for a while now. I put a challenge on myself. I said that I was going to stay on the elliptical for the entire show. PROBLEM!! I forgot my water bottle at home... STUPID!!! So I adjusted the plan so I would take a water break after the one hour mark. I jumped on and knocked the first hour out at a level 7 @ 120 step per min and 155 BPM pulse 623 calories burned. Then the second hour came and I stepped it up to a level 12 @120 SPM and avg 163 BPM 896 calories burned. I was a little bit above my zone but I was not breathing hard and the sweat was pouring off. I finished when Jay Leno came on and realized I just burned more than a 1/3 of a pound and combined with my nutritional deficit I was close to 3/4 of a pound.
Does it get any better than that? There is always tomorrow...
This is a glorious day in my little world. THIS MY FRIENDS IS A MAGIC MOMENT!!!!
I just have one thing to say to my competition. When you are sitting on the couch watching your favorite show. Think to yourself, Steve-O is incinerating 1500 calories while he watches the same show. I need to get motivated. Hooo Yaah!!

Haha..funny. Well, I DID sit on the couch and watch The BIggest Loser...because I did my work out at 4! LOL. So thanks, next week while I sit on the couch, I'll be thinking of you sweating your patootie off, and kudos go out to you my friend.
Seriously though. Awesome job! I have a feeling that you won't forget your water next time...that would have sunk me! I sip all the time when I'm working out. I don't think you need to get motivated...YOU ARE motivated! Feels fabulous, doesn't it?
I'm impressed....you know what I am going to say now....DONT STOP, IT is in you now, IT builds momentum like a steaming locomotive. You cant stop, you wont stop, dont ever stop.
I hear ya Russ man... I don't know why this time is different but it is. It feels different all around. I just can't explain it.
I am looking forward to taking all the measurements this Friday. We'll see what two weeks has done for me. I am not expecting a lot of weight because of the increased weight training, but the other numbers should go down.
