Better choices lead to better results

Today went really well. I was so proud of myself today. This morning the family does the weekend ritual of going out to breakfast. I normally get the Philly Omelet with side of corned beef hash and chase it with a glass or two of soda. Today I was very conscious of what I was ordering. I had a Broccoli, Tomato, and cheese omelet made with egg beaters, no side orders, and I drank only water. What a great change and it tasted good also. I am not afraid to try new things, so it makes it easy to make new healthier dishes. The rest of the day went well nutritionally too. I debated on whether or not to go to the gym today or to take a rest day. I chose option #1. ;) I thought about it and asked myself W.W.L.D. (What Would Lance Do)? He would say, Your competitor's are working out right now, are you? FEED THE WARRIOR SOME CARDIO!!! So I went to the gym and put 60 minutes in on the elliptical machine. I enjoyed burning off that goo and the 600 calories that went with it.

Oh, by the way the Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness has set in for the upper body workout I did the other day. I expect it to last through tomorrow and go away by Monday. That will be in time for another strength workout.
