I don't look at the following items as failures because I learn something from them. I look at this as gaining experience. I have also learned that success in life is the result of good judgment. Good judgment is the result of experience, and experience is usually the result of bad judgment
What have you learned from the last 18 weeks, so it won't block your progress in this next challenge?
#1 I have learned that I have a problem with food. I am subject to binge eating, and I need to overcome these cravings to be compliant with my nutritional goals. I need to watch my FREEDAY or eliminate it all together.
#2. I have a poor support system at home that encourages the same patterns that I have been looking to transform.
#3 I have learned that I need to decide and dedicate myself to the exact eating and exercise plan that I want to use. I need to stick with it and not doubt it. I have learned that while doing your exercise routine you must give 110%. It is only one-hour of effort a day. So you should give it the maximum amount of effort in that one hour.
#4. I have learned that perfection is not possible and to not allow it to ruin my positive attitude. Just because I missed a workout or chose poorly for one meal or one day does not ruin the entire challenge. I have a mindset that since I am in a competition that if I slip up I will get behind and have no way of winning.
#5. I have learned that nutrition is the biggest part of the entire transformation process. It is also the toughest thing. You have to work at it 24 hours a day. Everything starts with what goes in your mouth. If you want to change your body and your energy level, it all starts with what goes between your lips. Calories still affect you even if you don’t choose to count them.
