State of the Workout, Streak continues for 6th day..

The day begins as the previous ones do. Wake up at O-Dark 30 and get myself together for my pilgrimage to Promise Land. Today was just a cardio day so I warmed up with a little elliptical then moved onto the mile and a half on the treadmill. The tread is feeling easier and easier. Don't get me wrong I'm no running man, but I'm progressing slowly. It is taking me just about 20 minutes to get that mile and a half in. This is still well above the 12:30 mark that I need to beat. I will say that I am very happy with the progress none the less.

I am doing a written version of the State of the Workout because I am having trouble with cam.

This was the end of week 5 of 18. It began with a half ass attempt and then a visit from the Fitness Mafia. I straightened out the act and became born again. I have made it to the gym every day since. My diet plan consists of 1800 calories. I am strength training three days a week and cardio six days. I make it a point to do at least a mile on the treadmill per visit.

I will continue the 1800 calories restriction for another week to see if it is working for me. I am not seeing the dramatic loss that I expected with the 600 cal reduction and the 500 to 700 calorie exercise burn. Like I said, I will monitor it another week and adjust it if it's not working. If anyone has any knowledge on this feel free to shoot an Email. Alright the moment everyone has been waiting for...... The Tale of the Tape!!
All measurements were taken on Sunday Feb 8th:

Feb 1st Feb 8th Diff

Weight 246 245 - 1

Body Fat% 32.88 32.21 - .67%

Neck 18.5 18.5 N/C

Hips 44" 44" N/C

Waist 46.5" 46" - .5

Chest 46.75" 46" - .75

Thighs 27 27.5 + .5

I am concerned with the weight, but the body fat continues to go down so it is not a total loss. I am making some gains in the thighs, so the lower body workouts and the running is paying off. Well that's all for the week. Not the best but progress none the less. So it is a......................

VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats. Every loss is a victory, no matter how big or how small.

And on a more disturbing and ironic note - the word verification that I have to type in to post this comment -
