Almost missed the bus, Pitchers and Catchers have arrived




Forget about the stupid groundhog, you know how you know spring is close? Pitchers and Catchers arrive at spring training. This means seven more weeks till opening day and spring is here.




Well today is a minimum motivation day and I did it to myself. I went to bed too late last night, and for no good reason. I finally made it in at 11:45pm. That made 4:45 come awfully quick. The alarm went off like a drill sergeant with a trash can, only the lights didn't go on and 100 people were not scattering like roaches. So my competent subliminal mind took care of turning the alarm off without waking the rest of the body. I woke up at 5:25 and actually debated with myself that I did not have enough time to do the things I planned at the gym. I thought about it and said I can't ruin the streak. So I got my sorry butt out of bed and went. I felt like a truck did a three point turn on my body (big truck too). I did do a productive 20 minutes on the elliptical, but the treadmill didn't get theirs today. I felt like jello. So I returned home and continued with the diet.




Lesson learned today: Go to bed earlier dummy! No later than 10:00.




There is nothing more important on TV than getting enough sleep for the next day workout. Well baseball season IS coming, I can't get enough of NESN and the Sox. Well I suppose I can watch Breakfast with the Sox the following morning.

VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT is what IM talking about! You see, you felt like dog ass after rummaging through the trash..AND you still went to the gym...even if it wasnt a full workout..you went...THATS AWESOME! That will pay off bigtime, you will see results, Im confident you will reach your goals...Well done THOR!

Now drop and give me 3 sets of 20 pushups..lol
