Well I thought about it and decided to revamp the blog and its purpose.
You can't steal second and keep your foot on first....
I found that saying on a persons profile page. I can relate to it. You have to make a conscious decision and believe totally in your abilities to complete the task in front of you. You can be afraid, and you must trust the plan. You have to dare to be great!
I have been given 18 weeks to complete a task of transforming my mind and body. I have wasted 4 weeks of this time trying to keep my foot on first base. A week and a half ago I realized I had not committed to the program. I worked intensely at changing that intensity. I gave myself a reason to make it to the gym and do my best. I followed my plan to the letter for the week and a half. I reviewed my results at the end of this week, and though there were some small victories, the change that I had expected did not happen. My weight remained stagnant. That did not add up to me. This tells me that I need to adjust a little. I have several programs in which I could follow to get to my destination. I chose to reinvent the wheel and morph the best from each and make my own program. Well that didn't work well. I looked at why I did this and saw that I did not believe in the programs 100%, and did not want to dedicate the time to not get the results. Huuummm? Do you see a similarity there. So I wasted almost 6 weeks on this. I now have only 12 weeks left to finish the goal. Time to make an adjustment, and believe 110% in the program.
Why the blog change?
I changed up the blog because I did not want to dwell on the weight aspect of the challenge. The programs that I have concentrate their efforts on the reduction of body fat and muscle gains. I am changing the direction of my goals towards reducing body fat and gaining muscle. I am sure that the weight will come off, but my goals need to be effective and attainable. My past ones were not.
I read in the rules and guidelines of the Transformation Challenge that It doesn't matter what vehicle you choose to get to the finish line, as long as you get there.
I still plan on keeping up with the running aspect of my cardio program. I see positive results in this training, and I have a time to beat at the end of this. Tomorrow I will put the new plan in motion. I will need 13 weeks ( 90 days) to complete the program. I realize that it is one week past my original goal, but it still falls in to the parameters of the challenge. It looks like I need to put together a new set of goals quickly. I will put them together tonight and post them on Monday.

The blog change is nice, but make sure to change your mindset too. You can revamp and rearrange your writing space, but unless you follow through and change your way of doing things... this blog will be a fancy, decorated, rearranged waste of space.
