It's Rainman not the Iceman cometh...... Day 11

I awoke this morning to find that it was not a frozen tundra outside and the mission was still a go. This was super positive for me. Like finding a ten spot in a pair of pants. Last night, I had a horrible night sleeping. Maybe working out an hour before bedtime is not as good for you as advertised. I tossed and turned all night. I still got up on time and today was cardio day. i did the usual 60 minutes on the elliptical. that was another 700 calories burned on an empty stomach. This is a great start to the day. I hope all of this hard work will reflect in my numbers this Sunday. I am not as worried about weight as I am the bodyfat %. Click on the link to figure out your own percentage. If the bodyfat % goes down the weight will take care of itself. I made a great chili recipe today.

  • 1 packet of McCormick's slow cooker chili seasoning
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 jar medium salsa
  • 1lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Brown turkey mix with rest and simmer for 30 minutes.

Great food that is high in protein and not so bad in carbs. Well that's all for today, I will leave you with the quote of the day.
