Happy Birthday, no cake for you!!!!

Happy Birthday to me!!! I gave myself a great present today, a sore body. Yesterdays routine caught up with me. My chest and triceps are so sore. This is to be expected, at least next week won't be so bad.
Well today is plyometrics day and for those who don't know what plyometrics is let me tell you. It is a high impact aerobic jump training. It revolves around quick transitions of exercises for the lower body. Each exercise is done for 30 seconds. After 4 exercises you repeat the group again, then you take a 30 sec. break. There are 23 exercises in this hour long sadistic ritual. I will be the first to tell you that I made it half way through the workout. I started off doing each exercise for the 30 seconds, but quickly went to 20 seconds. I will say that after 30 minutes I was sweating a river. I found that my lower back and legs were very fatigued, so I stopped before I hurt myself and could not go on. I am very disappointed that I could not finishevery exercise, but this is a good start though.
It is real tough to feel bad when one of the people on the video is doing all the exercises and he has a prostetic leg. I realize that these people started from the beginning somewhere, so i will press on and I can only get better from here.
