Weekend Motivation

Today was a rainy day and I was just sitting around thinking about getting in an extra workout at the gym. I don't want to over-do-it though. If I went I would just do cardio. If I go I would want to get in at least 30 minutes minimum.
I have been working on my weekly menu for the first week. I need to finalize it and then do an inventory of the fridge. It is coming along well.

Well I got motivated and went to the gym. I completed an hour on the elliptical machine. The machine showed 625 calories burned. i know that the accuracy is suspect, but it is a good generalization. I was very happy with my level of motivation today. I have not stepped on the scale again. I plan on waiting until Thursday or Friday, so I don't get messed up. The deadline for the weekly weigh in for the competition is Friday's.

atta boy..remember, the hardest part is getting there. AND...the only motivation u need is your kids...u know how hard it is to lose a father....don't do that to your kid. Now go back to the gym and run another 60 minutes.

Not only did you go, but you surpasses what you initially intended to do. THAT is awesome! Great job.
Yeah, I've been stepping on that scale daily, and sometimes more than once. I don't know where that came from, I was doing so well. But, I'll make you a deal...if you stay off until Thursday, I'll stay off until Thursday! That's going to be tough...yikes!
