Paralysis of Analysis!

This is tough stuff!!!!

I believe it is called Paralysis of Analysis

Well Sunday was a day of thinking for me. I think that I have finally figured things out. I have not been trusting the diet plan. This is one of the biggest problems that I face. I have one that is strict on calorie counting. Then another says don't worry about calories go with portions, and take one day for a free day. Then another says go with your RMR Resting Metabolic Rate) and minus 500 cals from it. The last one basically tells you to find your RMR and then ADD close to 900 calories for daily burn and exercise. It is very confusing stuff. I have see peoples after results form all of these different programs, and all programs have shown results. Which is the best for me? I am always second guessing myself on if I made the right choice. So I decided to take a look at all of the plans and find the common denominators in them. I want to revamp MY diet plan and make it something that is workable for me. I have found these:

  • BMR weight X 10 calories needed to support body function

  • BMR - 500 calories for an est. weight weekly loss of 1 pound

  • Target for me would be 1800 calorie intake

  • Able to eat meat, veggie, fruit, carbs

I also noticed in those books that Chinese, Subs, Pizza, and Ice Cream were not on the list. This is a problem that I need to address. I need to replace these triggers with better eating choices. I also need to include more choices in my daily menu. I will get sick of the same stuff everyday, and I am sure that will force me towards the Axis of Evil.

I think this will work better for me. I will update on it in a few weeks.
