The Iceman cometh..... Got a blender? Day 3



Today was a crappy day all around. I was not able to go to the gym because of weather, and did not complete the intended workout for the day. I guess that a shinning spot was that i went out and did some of that Rocky cardio. I shoveled water saturated snow topped with ice. I almost broke the shovel the stuff was that heavy. Oh did I mention that it was raining when I was doing this. New England Blows with a capital B.

I am glad that i did not try the roads today. Just behind my house a 4 axle dump truck slid off the road and ended up on its side in a brook. It was impressive. The road outside my street was closed down all day. I don't know if anyone got hurt.

My diet has been going pretty well, but I am experiencing charlie horses in the calfs and obliques during stretching in the mornings. I have not narrowed down why yet by I'm working on that. I think you'll agree those are the worst pains. My meals have been on target, but the times are still a little screwed. Its the first week of extreme clean eating so I will figure it out before next week.

Every ones good friend DOMS showed up today as I figured. Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness is what happens after a good workout, the soreness shows up while the muscles are recuperating from beating. It shows up for me by the second day. I do notice that it reduces after the first initial workout of that body part. So I guess there is a bright side.
