I returned to the program full speed today, since I have missed the gym for the last two days. The primary reason was because I did not wake up on time either day. Bad me! Today the alarm went off and I jumped out of bed. I decided that I would not short change myself out of my hour of power. I have set this time aside in the beginning of the day to get the engines started and kick up the metabolism for the entire day. I did a combo workout today. I started out with 20 minutes of cardio followed by an upper body workout. I felt great afterwards. I have maintained the energy throughout the day and stayed on track with the diet. It is a very good day despite the fact that it is raining out.
I read an alarming fact today about fast food and obesity.
- 60 percent of all Americans are either overweight or obese, and
- McDonald's distributes more toys per year than Toys-R-Us
