Well people this is the last weekend of 2008. It is time to start thinking about you in 2009. What will you in 2009? What do you want for yourself in the new year? Whatever it is you should start now, and not wait till January 1st. The sooner you get started, the sooner you will complete it. Most people put things off until things are right for them. That time never ends up coming, and you never start. It is sad but true. I have fallen victim to this for so many years. I have been told that once you make a goal you should take some kind of action towards its achievement. This will keep you on track and motivated to go in the right direction. It's all about taking action.
Have you made the decision to make a change? Decision is a great first step, but there needs to be some type of action to follow it, or its just a dream.
I have taken my photos today. I will be posting them tomorrow along with my updated measurements. I will also be updating my goals for the new year and the challenge. I am really looking forward to getting back to the gym and getting that diet back under control. I will be focusing most of my attention on my diet. I have found this to be the hardest to maintain. I will just take it one meal at a time.
I am looking to include a running routine to my workout. I found a site called coolrunning. It has a couch to 5k program that I will be incorporating. It is a progressive 9 week routine. Link in the sidebar. Check it out..
Well, I guess if a person never quit when the going got tough, they wouldn't have anything to regret for the rest of their life. But good luck to you Peter. I'm sure this decision won't haunt you forever.
