Change of plans, better late than never


Well I had a slight miss-step today. I went to bed late last night and i missed my alarm this morning. I used to let it bother me, but I knew that I would get it in tonight. My diet went well today. I stayed within my calorie range all day. I am still putting the finishing touches on my two week meal plan. I should have it completed for next week. Today was a milestone day for me. I had to recognize it. I have lost 5 pounds since starting this challenge. I have decided to issue a merit badge for every 5 pounds that I lose. I know its corny but it is representation of my accomplishments and it shows people who view the blog where I have been. I know I should not look at the scale. In fact I made a deal not to look until tomorrow. Ooops! I just had to know really bad. That has been one of my problems from before. That will be one of the things that I will do better next week.


I made it to the gym at 8:00pm. I completed 1 hour and 3 minutes on the elliptical. I was averaging 150 BPM heart rate. It is in my zone. The high end, but still in the zone. I think I need to incorporate the weights back into the routine. Tomorrow I will do a light lower body work out before my cardio session. That's it for today got to get some sleep, so I can wake up at 4:30am.
