I have thought about my transformation journey, and realized that if it is worth doing it is worth recording. There are times in your life that you want to remember, the good things. Take time to write down the good things that have happened, so after this 18 weeks is complete you have a compilation of good experiences to remember. People have a tendency to forget the little things that make them feel good each day. The bad things in life easily dwarf the good things. There are to many bad things that are happening out there that you could easily get discouraged and depressed. People riddle their blogs with negative energy, whether they failed a meal, a workout, or gave into temptation. In order to stay positive, you need to remember the positive results you have achieved. Did you follow your plan? Did you get up on time or go further by 30 seconds on cardio? These are all magic moments.
People like to beat themselves up if they don’t accomplish their goals. I did not lose weight this week, or did not make it to the gym five days straight. This will cause self-doubt and negative reinforcement. If you reviewed your magic moments for the week you will see the positive things you forgot about. This will put you back in a powerful state, and you will want to do it more.
I challenge you to find these moments in your day and write them down, and if you reflect on them weekly you will realize you are growing more than you know.
