Now get off your keister!!!!
It is a new year and there are millions of people lying to themselves about what they want to change in the new year. They have no plan just a wish. They have no real reason to change these things and that is why it wears off in a few days. There are many gyms contracts being signed, and the influx of these people who will take up the machines from the dedicated people. Fortunately, this is only temporary. The fad will start to die out by MLK day and finally die out by Valentine's Day. This is a sad but true statement. Then all will be well with the world again. Don't fall into the trap. Most people don't have a desire to make the change, just a dream that it will magically happen. If you are going to stop smoking then crush the remaining pack that you have and throw it away. If you are not committed to doing that then what makes you think you will not stop after the pack runs out. Take immediate action towards your goal. This will prove to yourself if you are for real, or giving yourself a load of BS. If you want something you have to know what you have to give up to get it. Do it!!! For yourself, and those around you that love you.
OK....
That was my realistic motivational speech for the new year. I hope that it has inspired you to think about what you truly want and are willing to commit to in the new year. I realize that it was a little in your face, but if you want kind then listen to John Tesh....LOL
I am in the pre-challenge phase. I am getting all the ducks in a row so i can continue in the direction I want to end up. There is only 3 days and some change until the official start of my Be the Change challenge. I am excited to get back to the gym. These last few days I fell back into my old routine. It feels disgusting. I feel bloated and run down. I gave back 4.5 lbs of hard earned weight loss. That really pisses me off. There is no one to blame but me. This is the last time that I experience this type of lifestyle. I feel like I failed not only myself, but all you guys too. Even though it is temporary, it is still a failure. Good news I'm not quitting and buying a plane ticket so a tall friend can come here and kick my ass. Reference a past video comment where my good friend Russ said that he would come to Massachusetts a kick my ass if I did not do this. I responded by saying I would buy him the ticket. He agreed to free airfare.
I have a question for those people who are following this. When I finish this challenge and demolish my goals what do you think would be a good reward for myself. I know that I'll be in way better shape, but a good reward is always good. I will let the people pick one. One rule: It cannot be a food reward. That's like taking an AA finisher out to the bar to celebrate. No No...
I leave it in your hands. Email your thoughts, and I will take the suggestions and put them in a poll for you guys to vote on. Thanks for all the support so far and look forward to a more polished Steve 2.0 by May 9th 2009. I will post the goals on my video cast Sunday.
Happy New Year all!!!!!

Thats a good idea. Maybe I will schedule them before the end as further incentive to look good.
