A gym that sabatoges stays in business longer....

The plan went off without a hitch yesterday morning. Got up on time and made it to the gym. It was pretty busy for 5:00am. I was impressed. It still was not the chaos like the after dinner crowd. I forgot yesterday was the first Monday of the month. It is bagel day for the A.M. crowd and pizza night for the P.M. crowd. This is unbelievable I think. Hey lets go stuff our face with pizza and go run it off. Makes sense to some people because they keep eating it up. That is one benefit that I have not taken advantage of, and never will. I gave up the bad stuff to get fit. Its like going to an A.A. meeting and them having six pack night. TOOLS!

Well like I said exercise went off without a hitch. I did the 20 minute journey on the elliptical. I maintained my heart rate in the zone. My zone is between 135 - 166 beats per minute. I made sure that even going to a 9 or 10 I was at the high end of the zone, yet still in it. I am trying to get the most out of my visits that I can.

Tonight they are calling for snow first then turning to freezing rain for the rest of the day. I don't think I will make it to the gym. My car bad in snow worse on ice. I will have to go to the contingency plan. I have the P90X DVD's. I will do the leg workout from that tomorrow. I'm glad that I have a back up plan. It would really upset me to miss a workout so early in the game.

OMG!! I am watching the biggest Loser and there is a 19 year old who is 456 lbs. There is a lot of work that needs to be done with this kid. There is no better reason to continue on this path.

Wasn't Biggest Loser unbelievable last night?? I was next door helping my landlord at 9:45 so I didn't get to see the end. What a wicked pisser. Did they really send people home so early in the game?? I guess I'll have to stop being lazy and look it up. Imagine losing 30 pounds in a week??
